I love human development, health and wellness! After many years of suffering with digestive issues and not knowing exactly how to help myself, it was then that I realized I wanted more out of my career and life. So, on a quest to feel better mentally and physically, I parted ways with my old career. Through my journey, I regained my health and deepened my passion for health and wellness. Upon leaving California and moving to Texas, I decided to become a Certified Holistic Nutrition Health Coach. My family and I found a great place to meet our physical fitness needs while meeting great like minded individuals. My hobbies include mindful meditation every morning, hiking, and working out at Align Health, San Antonio, TX. My family and I truly enjoy being there as a great part of relieving daily stress while building our mind, body and spirit. Dr. Donna and company definitely do not disappoint. I hold a B.S. degree in Human Development from Cal Poly University, San Luis Obispo, CA and I received my training from The Institute for Integrative Nutrition. I have also worked and been mentored by amazing Naturopathic and Functional medicine doctors.

I’m a Board Certified Health Coach, with the American Association of Drugless Practitioners (AADP). I received my training from The Institute for Integrative Nutrition, where I was trained in more than 100 dietary theories and studied a variety of practical lifestyle coaching methods. My teachers included Dr. Andrew Weil, Director of the Arizona Center for Integrative Medicine; Dr. Deepak Chopra, leader in the field of mind-body medicine; Dr. David Katz, Director of Yale University’s Prevention Research Center; Dr. Walter Willett, Chair of Nutrition at Harvard University; Geneen Roth, bestselling author and expert on emotional eating; and many other leading researchers and nutrition authorities.
My education has equipped me with extensive knowledge in holistic nutrition, health coaching and preventive health. Drawing on these skills and my own experience, I work with busy men and women to help them make diet and lifestyle shifts that produce lasting results. I create a supportive environment that enables you to articulate and achieve your goals. Most approaches to healthy eating dwell on calories, carbohydrates, fats, and proteins, but not on the "cleanest" forms of carbohydrates, fats, and proteins for optimal hormone and overall health. I customize individual plans for the beginning of new and improved self. As these pieces accumulate, my clients find these changes collectively creating a much larger impact than they originally anticipated. We work on what they want to improve within the circumstances of their unique situation. Be it pre-diabetes, poor digestion, weight loss, depleted energy or poor sleep.
